DJ Daddy Bug

So I love DJing. I got started back in 2011 when a friend of mine (who is a DJ) asked if anyone wanted to DJ for his birthday party. Not having any experience at all, I volunteered. He showed me the basics in working the mixer and that was pretty much it. Not long after, he plugged me to someone who was selling their turntables and mixer for an extremly low price. I immediately bought them and have been doing it ever since.
While I use computer technology for a living and know how to digitally mix, I prefer spinning all vinyl. Yes, the crate of records is heavy. Yes, there's a lot of other equipment I have to lug around. But I enjoy finding the records I wanna play as well as spinning them at sets. You can find me at a local coffee shop, Urban Foxes on Saturdays during brunch hours.
As far as what I like to play: anything that's good. I like to try to mix in music from every continent (Sorry, Antartica. You have to sit this one out) at each set. I can also make it funky from multiple decades. Even if it's not "new", it's new to somebody.
